Tips to Winterize your home
Winterizing is a process that everyone should undertake to make it home ready for winter. Freezing temperatures, ice, snow and wind can cause severe damage to your home.
Note: It is important that the heat is left on in vacant home. If damage occurs due to he been turned off, insurance companies meeting this as a negligent and refuse to pay claim.
Frozen Pipes

- Insulating unfinished area such as garages, were pipe may be exposed
- Draining and shutting off pipes flowing to the outside faucets.
- Disconnecting all garden hoses and install covers on all outside faucets
- Keeping your house temperature at 68° or higher at all times
- Having someone check your home regularly while you are away
