Gahagan Plantation’s National Night Out Neighborhood Picnic is on again!!

When: Tuesday, August 6, 2019
Time: 6pm to 8pm
Where: 300 Block of Factors Walk

There will be plenty of music, food, games and a chance to meet new neighbors and mingle with old friends.  We will supply the hamburgers and the hot dogs including all the fixings. For the other picnic items, see below:

Last names beginning with:

  • A thru H, bring your BEST casserole or salad
  • I thru P, bring a snack or chips or special dish
  • Q thru Z, bring a dessert or a special dish

Make a little extra because we will also be feeding officers from the Summerville Police Department, Fire Department and EMS personnel. This is our chance to show them our appreciation for the hard work they do to serve and protect us.

Gahagan Crime Watch asks that all residents turn-on their Front porch lights between 6pm on August 6th until the next morning. “Lights Out” means Lights OUT for CRIME.

The National Night Out Picnic is sponsored by the Gahagan Crime Watch program and the Gahagan Plantation Homeowners Association.

All residents are urged to attend!  Come and enjoy the Fun!

About

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October). Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.
